It's almost one week since I got back to Taiba and everyday is an adventure here. You know when you're going out from home but never when you're coming back, specially if you're driving a buggy!! Yesterday for example was a typical day in Brazil: getting up, super breakfast with açaí, doing some streching and gymnastics, kiting in the lagoon, back home, shower... (everything's fine up to here).
But then we decided to go for dinner in Cumbuco. Driving at night+by buggy+on the beach= bad idea!! The thing is that we run out of petrol, fortunately we had a 2L guarana bottle full of petrol with us that allows us to get to the next petrol station; the problem is that the battery didn't start...tide coming in...pushing the buggy between 4 people but still didn't start. Me running down the beach trying to get to the next town and look for help...after several stressing minutes, water super close, the buggy re-started. So we got to Cumbuco, had dinner and a caipirinha in la Laranja Mecánica but on the way back...wheel puncture...what else!!! So we had to drive not faster than 40km/h the whole way back.
This morning we manage to change the wheel but see how!!! hahaha
Hace ya casi una semana desde que volví a Taiba y cada día es una aventura. Sabes cuando sales de casa pero nunca cuando volverás, sobretodo si conduces un buggy!! Ayer por ejemplo, fue un día típico aquí en Brasil: no levantamos, super desayuno con açaí, un poco de estiramientos y ejercicios de gimnasia, navegada en la lagoa, casa, ducha...(todo bien hasta el momento). Pero decidimos ir a cenar a Cumbuco. Conducir de noche+ en un buggy+por la playa=mala idea!!
El caso es que primero nos quedamos sin gasolina, por suerte siempre llevamos una botella de 2L de guaraná llena de gasolina que nos permite llegar hasta la gasolinera más cercana; el problema fue que la batería no arrancó...la marea subiendo...los cuatro empujando el buyggy pero no arrancaba. Yo empecé a correr por la playa en busca de ayuda en dirección del pueblo más cercano...y después de unos cuantos minutos super estresantes el buggy arrancó!!. Llegamos a Cumbuco, cenamos y luego una caipirinha en la Laranga Mecánica pero en el camino de vuelta...pinchazo en la rueda...que más puede pasar en un día!!!! Así que tuvimos que conducir a 40km/h todo el camino de vuelta...
Esta mañana conseguimos cambiar la rueda pero mirad como!!! jajaj
