I would like to introduce you to San Andres, one of the most beautiful islands I've been. It doesn't have the luxury you will find in Cayman Islands, but for sure is has the charm of its people and the most crystalline water I've ever seen!

It wasn't very easy for me to get there, well, more than "not easy" maybe I should call it "heavy"!! haha... If I usually travel heavy, this time was even heavier... It wasn't a simple return flight to San Andres but a 3 trips in one. I was already coming from Patagonia, with all winter clothes and wetsuit, and after Colombia I has heading to Cayman, so this was the result, haha, a couple of nights without sleeping, dropping bags and needing help to put them back into the trolley! You really gotta love this! ;)

The event was great! we had medium-strong winds everyday. I was just a little bit unlucky and I hit the reef on the second to last day of comp and I broke a fin and a fin box, but that is part of the game, if you take big risks you can win or you can loose. I don't really think I lost but for sure I learnt from it!! haha. 5 th place in the SourthAmerican Championship and a lot of fun.

Buenos días! por fin es viernes! No puedo creer que el viaje del que os voy a hablar fuera ya hace tanto tiempo, febrero! Parece como si fuera el mes pasado en mis recuerdos!

Me gustaría presentados San Andrés, una de las islas más bonitas a la que he estado. No tiene los lujos de las Islas Cayman, pero sin duda tiene el encanto de su gente y las aguas más cristalinas que he visto en mi vida!

No fue muy fácil llegar ahí, bueno, más que "no ser fácil" igual tendria que decir que fue "pesado"!! jeje... si normalmente ya viajo con mucho peso, esta vez fue todavía peor... No fue un simple viaje de ida y vuelta a San Andres, sino fueron 3 viajes en 1! Ya venía de Patagonia, con toda la ropa y neopreno de invierno, y después de Colombia todavía me quedaba ir a Cayman, así que este fue el resultado, jeje, un par de noches sin dormir y mi boardbag cayendose y no tener fuerza suficiente para yo sola volver a ponerlo encima del carrito! Realmente hay que tener devoción para aguantar todo esto! jeje ;)
El evento fue fantástico! Tuvimos vientos medios - fuertes cada día. Solamente tuve un poco de mala suerte cuando en el penúltimo día de competición choqué contra un reef y rompí una aleta y un cajetín, pero forma parte del juego, si tomas grandes riesgos puedes ganar mucho o perder. Aunque yo creo que más que perder, gané una experiéncia más y aprendí de la situación, jeje. Un 5o lugar en los Sudamericanos y muy buenos recuerdos.
Quiero agradecer a la Familia Leccese y especialmente a Rikki por "adoptarme" durante el evento y cuidarme tan bien! Grazie Mille a tutti!!
