Galicia, a Secret Spot

Hey guys and gals,

just got into Galicia this morning. A few friends of mine were planning to go to north Portugal this week, in Viana do Castelo, and I though I would join them, but at the last minute the forecast didn't look very good for there so I switched it for Galicia, and the forecast looks amazing for all the days. I flew into Santiago de Compostela in the first flight this morning and then drove direction to Ferrol where we rented a super cool house; actually it is the best appartment we've been in, full equiped, we even have wi-fi. It is for 4 people and we got a super good deal: 100€ for 4 days all included!!

So back to the interesting things, today there were around 20 knots of NE with 3-4 meters wave. Nice, eh?! Also a little bit scaring sometimes ;)

So now, jut back "home", got a super nice dinner with "Tarta de Santiago" as dessert included (typical from the region), tired 'cos I got up at 5am but happy to be able to share my day with you.

Don't have any pics in the water from today; we all wanted to ride and not stay out taking pics, Tomorrow I'll try to get some. BTW, today was my firsts day on my new Brunotti board and I just love it!!! and the graphics are super sick. Check it out!

esta mañana he llegado a Galicia. Unos cuantos amigos míos estan en Portugal esta semana y yo tenía previsto unirme a ellos, pero en el último momento la previsión cambió y no pintaba muy bien, así que he cambiado mis planes y me he venido a Galícia dónde la previsión pinta buenísima para todos los días. Hemos volado a Santiago y de allí en coche hasta cerca de Ferrol, donde hemos alquilado una casa alucinante. De hecho creo que es de los mejores sitios dónde hemos estado, super bien equipado, un jardín enorme, para 4 personas y una ganga el precio!!! 100€ por los 4 días!

Y volviendo a lo interesante, hoy han soplado 20 nudos de NE, con olas de entre 3 y 4 metros. Bueno, eh?! En algunos momentos he pasado un poco de miedo, jeje.

Ahora estoy en "casa", la cena ha sido espectacular con "Tarta de Santiago" de postres incluido!! (postres típicos de la zona). Ahora estoy muy cansada porque me he levantado a las 5am pero contenta de poder compartir mi día con vosotr@s.

No tengo ninguna foto en el agua porque al ser el primer día el mono de navegar a podido con el quedarse fuera tomando fotos, pero mañana cuelgo alguna.

Por cierto, hoy ha sido mi primer día con mi nueva tabla Brunotti y me ha encantado. Es tan buena como la 2010 pero con unos gráficos increíbles!! Comprobadlo vosotr@os mism@s!!
